BrickMania Bradley Review and Brick Republic Multi-National Troops review

I bit the bullet a little bit and my wallet hates me, but I got my taxes a few weeks back and decided to spoil myself to something a little more "Wow-ish" (If thats even a real word) and buy myself a BrickMania kit.

Now....for those who don't know what BrickMania is, its basically a business that sells custom designed Military Kits made out of lego bricks. They have kits varieting from Tanks, Troop Carriers, Jeeps to cute little Boats designed to look like your Lego Minifigs are enjoying spring break from the box you keep them in. Yay.

Now these kits are all brand new pieces and vary from prices up to 25$ to 390$ and up.

I decided to get the M2 Bradley.

Features
This bad boy is one of the most coolest kits in my opinion, 869 pieces variety from light grey pieces and tan pieces. This kit comes with printed instructions, a certificate of authenticity (Signed by its designer Daniel Siskind) and brings a happy smile to my face ! (Haha!) This vehicle features opening hatches (To put your Minifigs in) and movable TOW missile launcher.

Building
Building this thing took an hour and a half, most of the building was pretty straight forward, the only difficult part was the second pair of wheels that took mostly the half hour part of the build. You basically have to "force" them inside the wheel and restrain them (not to mention, making me wrestle with the wheels and say a few choice words "hoping" that it would magically snap together)

There was huge amount of tracks to deal with and I wasn't sure how to deal with dividing them upon 4 sets of tires. It says (112x) amount of tracks, being the simple me thought I'd divide the 112 by four giving me 28 tracks in total for each set of tires. Clearly that solution didn't work, I guess what they meant to say is basically "Use ALL of the 112x tracks that we gave you.....go nuts!"

After the assembly, I pulled out some Military Minifigs to put inside the Bradley, (Because a full tank is a HAPPY tank!) And not to mention that I've acquired these new figures and had a dire need to put them to the test.

Minifigs
(I buy my Military Minifigs from Brick Republic to add to my tank)
What do you get when you have Brick Republic digitally printed figures and BrickArms weapons for just under 17$? A happy customer and a wallet that's glad that you aren't squeezing cash out of it like its some sort of sponge! :)

As much as I am new to the custom Lego world that most people I know talk about, I've never knew that "digital-printing" was able to print on the shoulders, because that stood out the most about these figures. I changed the faces of the figures (The original is the British one) to give them a little more of a personality that I wanted (....Thats why they call them custom figures right??......) I love the Printing on both sides of the helmet and the shoulders as I've said before, Hopefully Brick Republic will come out with more of these designs (Russians da?)

I strongly recommend both of these fine products. If you choose either one of them, I know you won't be disappointed.

They have a webstore at: www.brickrepublic.com, they are a reseller of BrickArms weapons and have a wide variety of Custom Minifigures varying from World War II, Modern Combat, and even Star Wars.

And BrickMania is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They have a small warehouse opened every second Saturday of every month, they also have a webstore: www.brickmania.com
